I read a fair amount and loving language as much as I do, tend to pick up snatches and fragments to pull out when I run out of the right words. I rarely collect quotes for the sake of the quote, context is important.
Today is one of those migraine days where I feel as if it’s unbearable and so I am reminded of a quote I like of which I do not know the context:
“Many of us spend our whole lives running from feeling with the mistaken belief that you cannot bear the pain. But you have already borne the pain. What you have not done is feel all you are beyond the pain.” – Saint Bartholomew
I’m generally closer to being a pessimist than an optimist, but occasionally, one has to have a little faith in something.
